Ok; so we may not claim to know the meaning of life, or who would win a fight between Batman and Spiderman, but here are some questions that we do know the answer to.

How many codes do I need to send to get my game?

You will need to submit 3 x codes to get one game. There is 1 x code printed on each participating pack, which is found under the lid.

How do I submit my codes?

If you live in the UK (excluding Isle of Man and the Channel Islands), you can either:

• Text your code to 85585
  OR
• Go to www.potnoodle.com and enter the code online

You can submit your codes in a mixture of online or by text if you wish but you must remember to submit them from the same phone number by text and use that same phone number in your online entries, so that we know when you have sent in 3 x codes and can provide you with your game.

Not all three codes have to be submitted via the same route (e.g. the 1st code could be submitted online, the 2nd code submitted via SMS and the 3rd code submitted online).

If you live in the Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man or the Channel Islands, you must submit your code online at www.potnoodle.com.

You must reference the same phone number in your online application each time so that we know when you have submitted 3 x codes and can provide you with your game.

*Please remember that only one code can be submitted at a time (applies to both SMS and online routes). Multiple code submissions will not be accepted*

Why doesn't my code work?

Firstly, check that you are entering the code correctly. The format is 1 letter, followed by 9 numbers. If there are still problems, you will need to email waphelpuk@eamobile.com and they will help resolve the issue. You must include the following details in your email in order for them to be able to solve the problem:

• Your name
• Your mobile phone number (that you are using for this promotion)
• Your mobile phone make & model (eg. Nokia 5800)
• The network that your phone is connected to (eg. Orange, O2)
• The code that you are trying to use
• How you have tried to submit your code (either SMS or online)

You'll be contacted by reply email within 3 working days of receipt of your email.

Why doesn't my Pot Noodle have a code under the lid?

The EA Classic arcade games promotion runs across the following Pot Noodle flavours in standard size (90g): Bombay Bad Boy, Chicken & Mushroom, Chinese Chow Mein, Original Curry, Beef & Tomato. It does not run across multi-packs. If you have a Pot Noodle purchased before July 2009, it may not be participating in this promotion.

Do I need WAP?

Your handset must be WAP-enabled to download the gaming goodies. This means it can connect to the big noodly tangle that is the internet.

How much will it cost?

The game you'll download is free, but you should check with whichever mobile network you buy your chatty time from, to see how much it'll cost to download.

I'm under 16 years old; can I still get a game?

Yes. But you will have to ask a friend or relative who is over 16 years old to enter for you once you have collected three codes.

How much memory does my phone need?

Each game is less than 1MB: tiny. But make sure you have enough free space by deleting any embarrassing or dull holiday pictures/videos before downloading.

What phones are the games compatible with?

Only entrants with a compatible mobile phone with access to the internet will be able to claim and receive their free demo or game. Not every game is compatible with every handset (for example iPhones). The list of compatible handsets for each game can be found here

How can I choose what game I want?

Once we have received 3 x codes from you, you will receive a text message, which will allow you to download the game of your choice from the games available that are supported on your mobile: Space Invaders®, Rainbow Island™, Super Puzzle Bobble™, Arkanoid® or Volfied™. You can then submit another 3 x codes and choose a different game each time.

How quickly should I receive my acknowledgement / demo after submitting a code?

Subject to network provider issues (that we can't do anything about), if you have submitted your code via text message, you should receive a text back from Pot Noodle which acknowledges receipt and instructs you on how to get your free demo of Space Invaders® within 24 hours of entry.

If you've submitted your code online, you will see an acknowledgement page upon submitting your code which will also include instructions as to how to access the free demo of Space Invaders® on your mobile phone.

I submitted a code/s and now I keep getting messages from Pot Noodle - how can I stop them?

If you don't want to be kept up to date with the latest news or offers regarding this promotion from Pot Noodle then you can stop receiving these messages by doing the following:

UK (not Channel Islands or Isle of Man):
Text 'STOP NOODLE' to 85585. Charged at your standard network rate.

Channel Islands or Isle of Man:
Text 'STOP NOODLE' to 07805199405. Charged at your standard network rate. You'll need to check the rates for this text with your network provider.

Republic of Ireland:
Text 'STOP NOODLE' to 0866018449. Charged at your standard network rate.

How to get your game on, once you've collected three codes?

Sony Ericsson

1. Text third voucher code to 85585.
2. You'll receive a text message, which you'll need to open.
3. Once you've opened the text message, click 'Options' and select 'Go to'.
4. You'll be taken to a short registration page - when you're done, select 'Submit' to start download of the game to your handset.
5. The following message will appear: 'Content is not trusted...' Select 'Continue'.
6. You must now select which folder you want to save the game to on your phone. Select the 'Games' folder.
7. Once the folder is selected, a graphic will show what percentage of the game has downloaded.
8. Once downloaded, the game is saved to the 'Games' folder.
9. To find the game on your handset, select the 'Games' folder from the main menu and look for the icon of the game you've just downloaded.

Nokia

1. Text third voucher code to 85585.
2. You'll receive the message: '1 service message received'.
3. Select 'Show'.
4. Select the link and click 'Retrieve'.
5. The phone will start loading the WAP page.
6. You'll be taken to a short registration page - when you're done, move the cursor to 'Submit' and click 'Select' on your handset.
7. A message will appear: 'Application source unknown, continue?' Select 'Yes'.
8. A message will appear: 'Preparing download', followed by the image of a percentage bar. Once this bar reaches 100%, a message will appear: 'App downloaded to applications'.
9. To find the game on your handset, select the Applications icon in the main menu and look for the icon of the game you've just downloaded.

LG

1. Text third voucher code to 85585.
2. You will receive a message from Trust 5.
3. Open message and select 'Options' on your handset.
4. Select 'Extract data'.
5. Move cursor to the WAP address (URL): the line beginning with http://
6. Once the URL is highlighted, select 'OK' then option 2: 'Connect'.
7. You'll be taken to a short registration page - when you're done, select 'Submit' to start download of the game to your handset.
8. A message will appear: 'Application is unsigned, the source and integrity of this MIDlet can't be checked - continue anyway? Select 'Yes'.
9. A download percentage bar will appear, and you'll be asked which folder you wish to save to: select 'Games'.
10. To find the game on your handset, select 'My stuff' from the main menu followed by 'Select games & apps folder' then look for the icon of the game you've just downloaded.
